Chester

The City of Chester is two thousand years old. It was founded at the same time as London and was supposed to become the capital of the Roman Britannia. The massive Roman and medieval wall survives until today and provides a 2-mile walk 12 meters above the street level.
Chester is called "the English medieval city par excellence", though it was rebuilt in mock-Tudor style by the owner of the land, The Duke of Westminster, in the 19th century.
Chester is a place of architecture, history, museums, a Cathedral and Castle, shops and horse races and world famous Cheshire cheese. Chester is located in the county of Cheshire and borders with Wales.
The tour will last 9 hours and is usually combined with a visit to Liverpool.
