Bath
Bath is an 18th-century city, built of local honey coloured stone in the classical style. The whole city looks like a huge sweeping palace! In the 1st- 5th centuries A.D, it was a popular spa where people came to visit from all over the Roman Empire.
We are going to have a wonderful day in Bath. A walk in the city centre, a visit to Bath Abbey, and the Museum of Roman Baths.
Every day more than a million litres of hot thermal water bubble from the springs in the city centre and we are going to try this healing water. We can visit the spa and take a dip in the hot waters. Some English Queens swam in these thermal waters to help them conceive an heir to the throne. Bath is located in the county of Somerset, 99 miles from London.
The tour will take the whole day, 8 to 9 hours, but it is possible to shorten it or combine it with a visit to Stonehenge.
