Leeds Castle

In the medieval ages the castle became the dowry of the English Queens, mostly French who stayed there on the way from France. In the 20th century, Olive, Lady Baillie, English aristocrat and American heiress restored the castle to its original glory, recreating the bedrooms of Eleanor of Castile and Catherine of Aragon. Lady Baillie's rooms were designed by the best French architects of the 20-30s of the 20th century. In accordance with her wish, the castle is kept as a living house, accommodating guests at weddings and banquets. The castle is in the middle of a great park with a collection of waterfowls, including black swans. Leeds Castle is coined ’The Loveliest Castle in the World’, it is the perfect place for a great day out with the family or a romantic getaway with a loved one!
